Roperhurst, one of the UK’s leading plastic fabrication companies, based in Barry, South Wales, is delighted to announce the recruitment of three new apprentices to join its growing team.
Jordan Duddridge, Lloyd Creed and Iestyn Willey join us as apprentice fabricators, starting a journey that will lead them to be qualified plastics fabricators and welders.
Roperhurst MD Bob Lane, who also sits on BESA’s training committee, said “It’s always pleasing to see new blood come into the industry. Across the UK the engineering sector talks of a skills shortage, and it’s up to all of us in the industry to invest in new talent.”
Jordan Duddridge agrees “I saw the advert and jumped at it. Roperhurst have been around for 40 years, and I could see how I could develop and be part of its future.”
Jordan, Lloyd and Iestyn join Roperhurst’s two existing apprentices in a workforce of 25, as Roperhurst continues to grow throughout the UK and beyond.
