Roperhurst has completed its latest fabrication and installation of a cleanroom wet bench system, consisting of a 3000mm wide white polypropylene wet bench with under cupboards, and hood, complete with services and extraction via ranges of PVC/GRP ductwork, polypropylene centrifugal fan and discharge stack.
The work was completed to a precise timetable to limit the downtime of the cleanroom, and ensure that existing operations were as uninterrupted as possible.
The base unit consisted of a sink and weir sink, 1no town’s water outlet, 2no DI water outlets (one with a DI water gun), 1no air gun and 2no double electrical sockets.
Extraction was achieved via ranges of 400mm ø upvc/GRP ductwork and fittings, fabricated and installed to DW154 and running to a 400mm centrifugal fan and discharging vertically to air at high level via an accelerator.
