The Chinese economic recovery seems to be in full swing, if Roperhurst’s fume scrubbers are any indication. By the end of the first half of 2011, more than 20 units will have left these shores for various industrial plants across China, in addition to another five for the UK market.
These orders, together with recent exports to Taiwan and India, show that it’s not all doom and gloom around the world. Roperhurst’s Managing Director Bob Lane said “Keeping our two factories as busy as this during these difficult global conditions reflects very well on both the quality of our product and the efforts of our workforce.”
Roperhurst, specialist plastic fabricators and environmental engineers based in Barry, South Wales, is currently recruiting for a number of roles to supplement its existing team of 20 staff. Site Director Martin Whiteley comments “We have a long history of recruiting and training from the locality; we hope that we can attract ambitious individuals with the drive and ambition to deliver our increasing range of products and services.”
