Having been audited by third party auditors on 2nd May, Roperhurst was delighted to receive confirmation today (8th May) that our Environmental Management System (EMS) has successfully been recertified under BS8555.
In 2023/24 we implemented a series of environmental improvements, including recycling of:
- All waste PVC, polypropylene and polyethylene
- Scrap metals
- Timber
We also launched a salary sacrifice scheme for EVs and fitted a heat recovery system for our compressor.
Going forward we welcome the initiative from the Welsh Government to significantly improve recycling of other materials such as paper and cardboard.
